Build an Opera is a completely unique Summer holiday course that runs from Tuesday 6th- Saturday 10th August 2024. Previous courses have run in a much smaller venue at Chesworth Farm in Horsham and we are really excited to move into our new venue, one of Sussex's biggest and most beautiful barns on the edge of the South Downs National Park in historic hamlet of Sullington Children will get stuck into a world of creativity with tips on singing technique, costumes and sets to design, songs to write, sounds to discover and a story to make. Aided by professional opera singer Mark Bradbury, an actor musican/ director, a scenic artist and professional composer Christopher Hussey, participants devise, compose, design, paint, and perform a brand new piece of musical theatre in just one week. Each day will run from 9:30am- 4pm apart from the Saturday when participants will remain on site until a 6pm performance for families and friends to enjoy, followed by a Glyndebourne style picnic at the farm. Simply select the number of children from your household taking part and sibling discounts will be applied to your entire booking (10% for 2 siblings, 15% for 3 siblings).
